You may be interested to know that Google Scholar has made “Google Scholar Citations” open to all. This tool allows you to create a profile and list all of your scholarly articles on Google Scholar in one place. It then tracks the citations of the articles, co-authors, research interests, etc. You can keep your profile private or make it public for others to see. An example of one profile can be seen by going to David A. Wood’s citation profile. It’s a nice tool to see the impact of your work and also to research what others are doing. It’s also a nice way to showcase your work if you share the same or similar name of other academics. If you make your profile public, please leave a comment and a link so we can see them. If this catches on, we might add it to the wiki for each author (as I did on my profile).
