I received my undergraduate degree in accounting at Dixie State University. While attending Dixie, I played four years of college football earning academic honors along with 1st team all conference honors as a wide receiver. After Dixie, I worked for a year and half as a tax auditor for the Utah State Tax Commission. In addition, I spent time in the tax department at Hinton Burdick CPAs located in St. George, UT. I then continued my education by entering the PhD Prep Program at BYU from 2015 to 2016. I am now a PhD student at the University of Oregon with research in capital markets, tax planning, and accounting for income taxes. I also served a mission in Argentina, Buenos Aires west.
