I'm not a huge fan of the bold announcement about recent changes. I think we leave it up for a week or two and then ditch it.  Maybe at the next BYU conference, we give a brief presentation of features on a wiki for people to become more familiar with this medium.

I think the blog reference might go a little better in a section like current Ph.D. prep students or current doctoral students.  There's enough stuff written on blogs that they are more of a networking/stay in touch tool that fits better deeper in the site rather than on the face of the Ph.D. program site. Your thoughts?

I think more than the basketball this offers the opportunity to have some fun. In my family brackets those who know the least always seem to do the best.
