Talk:Should I get a Ph.D. in a subject area other than accounting?

I am confused. I thought a DBA was just for schools that felt uncomfortable offering PhDs in something as unphilosophical as business (like Harvard), and that it was exactly the same as a PhD. This last paragraph has me puzzled, as if, instead of getting a PhD, at the same school, I could get a DBA, and it would be something different.--Jlamro 09:51, 9 March 2009 (MDT)

I'm not really sure, I didn't post the DBA stuff. I know at Indiana you could chose, but everyone said don't do the DBA. It required less coursework was the only big difference I saw. Daw44 10:17, 9 March 2009 (MDT)
